Karl Goldmark Symphonic Poems 2 hit the mark

I recommend this volume to anyone who loves orchestral music. And definitely pick up volume one (if you haven't already).

Nightingale Quartet starts Vagn Holmboe series

The Nightingale Quartet is off to a great start. They just finished their survey of Rued Langgard string quartets. Holmboe (stylistically) is the next logical step. I'm glad they took it.
