Allen Pettersson - Symphony No. 12 delivers emotionally
Lindberg -- and the gathered ensembles -- succeed admirably. This is an intense, and intensely satisfying, musical experience from beginning to end.

But for a recording with an authentic feel for the opera house in superior remastered sound, the recent (2021) Pristine Audio release, PACO 176, is in a class by itself. You can hear it and judge for yourself on WTJU’s Sunday Opera Matinee at 2:00 P.M. on April 18.

Early Music by Walter Braunfels Promising
The ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra under Gregor Buhl turn in some solid performances. I think I prefer the composer's later style, but these are a good entry point into his catalog.
